Itchy ‘n Scratchy Spray
Use this spray liberally whenever your dog gets the itchy ‘n scratchies, it helps to repel insects, moisturise the skin and help to heal and combat bacterial and fungal infections.
It is made from Manuka and Kanuka hydrosol with a few drops of Lavender essential oil. The anti-fungal and antibacterial properties of Kanuka and Manuka relieve and combat skin irritations and infections. The Lavender helps to calm and relax your dog as well as acting as a natural insect repellent.
All of the ingredients used in the Itchy ‘n Scratchy Spray are natural and grown in New Zealand. Manuka and Kanuka essential oils are distilled locally so we know the best most active varieties of these native medicinal plants are used in these products.
All of the ingredients used in the Itchy ‘n Scratchy range are natural and where possible organic.
Manuka and Kanuka Hydrosol
Manuka and Kanuka are both known for their natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and have been used for centuries by Maori as a natural remedy.
Hydrosol is produced during the steam extraction of Manuka and Kanuka essential oil. Hydrosols are especially good to use on animals as they contain minute amounts of essential oils which is great for animal’s sensitive skins.
Kanuka and Manuka have similar properties, though Kanuka is also known as an anti-inflammatory and is able to penetrate the skin and help with joint inflammation. To use Kanuka and Manuka essential oils undiluted on dog’s skin is not recommended as they are strong and can burn sensitive skin. Hydrosols are recommended for use on dogs.
Lavender AUGUSTIFOLIA ESSENTIAL OIL

Lavender is considered to have a variety of benefits for dogs, and is especially noted for the following properties:
- Help calm dogs that are fearful, agitated, hyperactive or anxious.
- Repels fleas and ticks
- Provides relief when applied to dry, itchy skin.
- Effective in controlling doggy odour
