Most of our Preylicious Raw and Preylicious Dry pet food is wild-caught, free-range New Zealand game!
For many years, we have been selling Preylicious Raw (Prey Model) meat blends and meaty bones to cats and dogs all over New Zealand.
Most of our pet food is wild-caught, free-range New Zealand game, however, we also have a farm animal range that includes chicken, beef, Hoki, pilchards, salmon, lamb, and lamb tripe.
We also developed a Preylicious Dry Food range which is our Prey Model Diet frozen meat blends simply dehydrated. This enables every pet to partake in a deliciously, balanced food with no fillers and additives.
It is important to note that we source all of our products from MPI licensed New Zealand Companies.
Hare
Sourced from New Zealand. Hare meat is high in protein, vitamins and mineral and low in fat and sodium.
Rabbit
Sourced from New Zealand. Rabbit meat is low in calories, cholesterol, saturated fats and sodium, and high in vitamin B12, calcium and phosphorus.
Venison
Sourced from New Zealand, wild venison (Red deer) is low in fat, high in protein and iron and a great source of vitamin B2, B3, B6 and B12.
Goat
Sourced from New Zealand, wild goat has a more diverse diet so potentially a better nutritional profile. Goat meat is high in iron, protein, and potassium and low in cholesterol and sodium.
Salmon
Salmon contains important peptides that may provide support for joint cartilage, insulin effectiveness and control of inflammatory digestive tract conditions. It is also rich in Omega 3 fatty acids; Omega 3 fatty acids have been linked to coat/skin health. We use whole salmon smolt, which is nutritionally superior to just frames and head.
Chicken
A very good source of iron and protein, good source of vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, Omega 3, excellent source of Omega 6 and taurine. Whole chicken pieces (antibiotic and growth hormone free) are used, not just the carcass.
Possum
Sourced from New Zealand. Possum meat is high in Omega 3 and 6, high in protein and low in fat.
Turkey
Sourced from New Zealand. Turkey is a rich source of protein, sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium, calcium, Vitamin D and B6
Wallaby
Sourced from New Zealand. Wallaby is a great meat; very lean, and contains lots of iron, zinc, protein Wallaby is especially good for dogs and cats with allergy issues.
Lambs Green Tripe
Green tripe contains essential fatty acids, Omegas 3 and 6, protein and the ideal Calcium to Phosphorus ratio of 1:1 (which is vital for proper bone and joint development and sustainability). Also, the overall pH is on the acidic side which is better for digestion and includes Lactic Acid Bacteria, more commonly known as the probiotic ingredient Lactobacillus Acidophilus. Great for healthy cats and dogs and those with gastrointestinal issues.
